Our goal is to provide a caring and supportive environment while allowing patients to become productive individuals who can return to their lives as soon as possible.
Patients can continue to participate in their day-to-day lives while continuing to work, go to school and focus on their recovery while participating in our intensive outpatient program (IOP). They have the opportunity to try coping strategies they learn in treatment while at home and in school. If they have difficulty implementing strategies, we can continue to assist them during treatment.
Our program is not a “one size fits all” program. In order to understand the specific needs of each individual, we begin with an assessment. The assessment process is ongoing throughout treatment and adjustments are made as the client progresses. We collaborate with the client, family, client’s support system and treatment team to determine treatment goals.
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a level of treatment that is best for individuals who do not require inpatient care. It is an appropriate step-down program for those who have completed an inpatient program or a partial hospitalization program.
